John Deere 6930

Hi guys and gals we have a John Deere 6930 and we have a 3 horsh joker and we are getting a seed box added to it, We will be using it to sow our stubble turnips and cover crops it will be run off isobus we have GPS on the tractor and I have asked out agriculture engineers (a father and son self run business) if they knew what screen it would show up on and they both don't know so my next port of call is here I'm sure someone will have seen or used the isobus on a 6930 before

The 6930 doesn’t have an isobus screen as standard. The command centre cannot show the seeder.

What screen are you using to make the tractor steer?

This is the screen we run the GPS and auto steer from

If the tractor has a Isobus socket then plug your implements in and you should see the screens for controlling the implement on your in cab screen. U normally have to acknowledge that an isobus implement is plugged in and that’s it. That’s how it works on my JD’s albeit mine are newer.

The jd 1800 screen is isobus compatible, I’m guessing you haven’t got an Implement Bus Breakaway Connector (IBBC) on the rear of the tractor?
If it’s an autotrac ready tractor it will just be a case of fitting an isobus power harness from the battery to the rear of the tractor. The harness then connects into the tractor canbus and your1800 screen should then detect any connected implements.

The fact that terminal is plugged into the corner post means that I would suspect the tractor is iso. It’s not an aftermarket kit.
Yes the seeder should load and work through the screen however it can be a bit clunky through navigation of the screens. But it works.

I got in on Tuesday morning and got told take the plough of the Deere kelso and Lothian harvests is taking the deere to get the isobus working either on the GPS screen or adding a control box and got this valtra t254 and it's so good

Saw the outfit sitting in their yard on Friday when I was in, if it’s iso ready it should come up on screen or at least give an opinion to search for implement, just watch they don’t try n sell you a baler aswell as they seem to have plenty in stock ?
