John Deere 7000 series battery terminals

I have a 97 JD7000 series with knackered battery terminals. A new battery wire is £400 from Deere and they currently don't have any.

I have found a company that makes them, however they are having trouble getting a connector as shown. Does anyone know anyone that supplies such a part, or alternatively a new wire ?

Thanks

Is that a pair of positive terminals has the tractor 2 batteries? Get 6000 series terminal that have a thread and nut and put big crimps on the cable ends to bolt them to the terminal?

All that needs is a terminal with bolt on post, cut the 3 cables off the old one and crimp and solder new eyes on to bolt to the new post.

no need to replace the whole lot surely?

Is the new part number RE34430? If so it should be £236 and is showing available to order
They are taking the P**
Any good motor factors or auto electricians should sort this out for a lot less!

I'm surprised no one has suggested to hammer a nail in between the post and the terminal to tighten it up. Or for long term fix, a self tapping screw.

As above, take the whole lead to an auto electrician, it shouldn't cost more than 20 lbs to fix.
