Has 10 leg subsoiler at 8 inches.370 hp to pull a 20ft drill? Different world
They don’t seem to like mud. This one has already “detracked” a couple times as well.
I have a video but don't know how to post it

I've got 6 legs at 12 inch with 185hp and it'll out pull the new 220hp tractorHas 10 leg subsoiler at 8 inches.

Depends on forward speed 9kph was the aim.I've got 6 legs at 12 inch with 185hp and it'll out pull the new 220hp tractor
Aim for 10k but in the real heavy stuff 8 is more realistic. No idea about wheel slip as she's no that technical it's more of a does what it says on the tin with no gadgets kinda machineDepends on forward speed 9kph was the aim.
5%wheel slip was highest I saw
It has subsoiling legs as well , it was making it drop to 5kph on some of the headlands. Can I just ask ?
Why is a tractor like that pulling such a narrow planter ?
we only plant canola ( rape ) about 25 - 40 mm deep, that tractor would be pulling 12 metres here easily
I pull 12 m planters easily with a NH T8040 & a mate of mine pulls a 12 m flexicoil tyne planter with a JD 8400 . . .
How deep was it subsoiling and why ?

That’s not mud, it’s soup! He’d be better with a spoon!370 hp to pull a 20ft drill? Different world

No but I know someone who likes green and yellow would like to
I told him it would be a crap loader tractor and only does 4
Try driving a 12m planter on Devon lanes might be one reason !Can I just ask ?

Short weather window and hp just isn't what it used to be I don't know anyone who buys the appropriate hp these days so we all have much more than we should need nowwell if that was the case, you could use a smaller tractor
my question was why THAT tractor on such a narrow planter
if you are restricted by size, fine, but then use appropriate horsepower in front of it surely ?
