John deere park gear

Have john deere 6600(1995). Park is not working. There is a pin broken on the linkage. Can you get to it through the floor or does the transmission need to be lifed out to get to it?

There is only the roll pin, item 14 which occasionally slips out. The link, item 22 often drops off, andthe spring, item 21 can fail. You need an operator and a good torch. Dive under (Apply parking brake, use wheel chocks and be on level ground, key off & in your pocket etc) and have a look while the operator shifts to park..
