Problem is the plates that have bowed on either side of cab have when they were welded on at the factory so they just can’t go take them off and change them. At one stage the cab was going to come off and 2 guys were coming from the factory too chop them off and put new ones on but that got cancelled as more tractors were found with the same fault. Latest is and I’ve been waiting a while that jd are making offset brackets too compensate but seem too be taking ages. Really the cab is at fault but I’d rather not have them tearing my cab apart and changing cab frame
I had that I got a new panel with a soft rubber at the top to stop itIt will be this piece of plastic under the cab behind the steps catching (r/h side usually) ?
Yip someone ain’t doing there quality checks rookie error a small fault on a major component. Dealer has been no problem about it but jd is dragging their heals with a fix

It’s just a bit of a ball ache tractor is great but this one problem service manager is waiting for jd too come back with there supposed fix but it has too go through homoligation first. What ever it is it’s not going too mate up with that bowed surface. seeing I’ve had the tractor nearly a year I can’t see them replacing it more like they would want too change cab frame. When the washers are taken out the gap opens on the rh side, it doesn’t also help there 2 bolts on the lh side of bracket and only 1 on the rh side. Either some twit never secured the parts in the jig properly or the welder was too hot during manufacture very poor it not being noticed
