John Deere R series getting hot when baling

Location
Cleveland
Is it just me or does anyone else’s get hot when bailing? Those bloody radiator mesh’s need constantly cleaning out but yesterday it was getting hot and the mesh was clear.....no obstructions and radiators look clean and coolant levels perfect....as soon as you get some speed up it cools back down......last year bailing straw it was a nightmare

Usually just the screens for me in a bad go it can be every 20 mins .

Mate of mine runs front mower and gets serious issues in dry dusty grass
It’s an absolute pain in the arse. Last year in dusty straw I could only bale the bouts one way as the wind was blowing the dust onto the tractor and choked it

Is it a newer r series 155 etc or a 150, the older ones seemed to have more cooling issues. If it were the older one there may be a cooling update.
Would deleting the egr in a remap not help not so much a power increase but stop it choking on its own gasses?

I'd disagree with this as after a software update my 2016 155r runs hotter than beforehand so heats very easily now

My 6125R Can creep up in temperature mighty quickly at times but it operates in a lot of dust and find as well as cleaning grills a good soaking with pressure wash detergent and a good steam clean Will wash out more dust and grim than would ever think is hiding in the radiator

Good idea to get that furry dust off everything with a washer. It Helps grips the other rubbish and bung things up. But of mr sheen on the outside grill too.
