I hope it's nothing to do with a firm covering Northumberland and the Scottish borders ! Trying to buy a tractor off them at the moment!Apparently it’s time to blow the dust off this thread…
arn't they tit's? we trade with a small claas dealer, if they sack them it would be thier loss because we donOh Deere
It's quite sad to see, I'm not loyal to deere but I am to the chaps I deal with. I'd not want to be in their shoes, be unsurprised if the whole dealer network doesn't implode under pressure and JD will wade in and buy them out making them totally beholden to save face, when they are the guys who put in decades of footwork for the customer base.arn't they tit's? we trade with a small claas dealer, if they sack them it would be thier loss because we don
t want to go to a facless yard with electric door's at reception!
Farol, Hunt Forest (Smart) Burgess and a northern oneAny guesses who will be left
They can up their prices.what's the advantage of having fewer bigger franchises?
Pressure to perform, which will be exponential to increased overheads. Oh I'm pee'd off editing expidential now, I know what I mean...what's the advantage of having fewer bigger franchises?
The economics of scale I guess. Not something we are going to see much more of in agriculture imo. Big big big.what's the advantage of having fewer bigger franchises?
Although under the CNH brand they seem to want to keep them seperate. I don't know why, possibly because the Austrians put them together better and they don't wish to put the boys at Basildon out of work, so they seperate them.Out of interest does anyone know why Doe was urged to setup a Case depot down the road from Haynes NH one when CNH dropped Agwood years ago because they wanted both brands under the same dealer group in the area hence the Haynes Birchington Case depot?
Shaft customers....what's the advantage of having fewer bigger franchises?
Funny thing here is our two nearest CNH dealers have both New Holland and Case IH.Out of interest does anyone know why Doe was urged to setup a Case depot down the road from Haynes NH one when CNH dropped Agwood years ago because they wanted both brands under the same dealer group in the area hence the Haynes Birchington Case depot?
They can buy an X9, 8800i, or 8RX as a stock machine to demo out. Not that it matters for Scotland, only sheep and heather above Stonehaven anyway.what's the advantage of having fewer bigger franchises?
