To long. As a Riparian land owner carrying out his rightful duties he should have been commended for the excellent work that had been carried out preventing any more flooding to the local community.

Seriously, 15 blokes on a multi-agency task force on a dawn raid for a bloke who did some digging in a river. You'd get less effort put into a interpol raid of some drug lord living on the Costa del sol. What muppetry. I should think anyone involved should feel rather embarrassed at this tomfoolery. What a complete waste of tax payer resources, no wonder folk have a low opinion of the EA or Natural England.

I should think some of the drainage boards would be pretty interested in him coming over and advising.

How long was he locked up for?

If he had all the licenses and was told to do it, why was he taken to court and how did he lose? Bad lawyer?

Looks like he's done a good job to me, should probably have put a bill in but something must be off with his story.

So have the E A done any work to rectify the damage done to the river by Mr Price ?

If no damage was done then surely the EA were telling lies in court, is that not a more serious offence than dredging a river.
