Joseph Robinette Biden Jr..........will make America great again.

To be fair you only joined when the japs bombed pearl harbour in late 41, by then the germans had already given up trying to invade us and attacked russia, that mistake is what caused them to lose the war

The Japanese never had any intention of attacking the American mainland and their high command knew it was pointless. Invading Australia would have been the next logical step but that would have been difficult.

That is a matter of military strategy. If you have superior weapons then of course you would attack the American mainland to end further conflict and gain political control.

Otherwise you would not be at war in the first place.

In fact if I remember correctly the Japanese used arial weapons for the purposes of terror. Ahaha found it:

"Code Fu [Weapon]"), or fire balloon (風船爆弾, fūsen bakudan, lit. "balloon bomb"), was a weapon launched by Japan during World War II. A hydrogen balloon with a load varying from a 33 lb (15 kg) antipersonnel bomb to one 26-pound (12 kg) incendiary bomb and four 11 lb (5.0 kg) incendiary devices attached, it was designed as a cheap weapon intended to make use of the jet stream over the Pacific Ocean and drop bombs on American cities, forests, and farmland. Canada and Mexico reported ...

Ok, so they sent weather balloons over. Shall we compare and contrast that against say, the Tokyo firebombing attacks? Burn some forests? FFS.

I was under the impression that China was the worlds largest polluter by a wide margin................maybe when they take steps to curb that pollution we could talk..............until then its' just that, talk.

Again, why are you so worried about what China is doing? You don't think they aren't taking steps to curb their own environmental problems? You need to visit China I'd suggest.

maybe I misunderstood you... there was a vote once... and.they say that it was almost German... but that it was English had nothing to do with England... other than thats where most came from....
so you think if it wasn't for the UK they would be mainly speaking German in the US

I see .. a weather balloon. Why should anyone take what you say on face value when you can't even admit the facts ?

I didn't say anything about not attacking the Japanese mainland .. I guess that fact went over your head as well.

we... or you either... will have to.... who do you think will be buying up all this sh!t that goes tits up from the Corona farce.... maybe some of you will have some of that subsidy money left to buy up a little... but don't hold your breath.... I believe quite a few of you would sell your mother to the highest bidder....

Just like UK they will take great satisfaction in being green/sustainable while offshoring

Pretty much guaranteed HMG will stuff the UK population into the ground whilst making £Billions on imports which bypass regulations and taxes altogether.

A new container port was built in London a few years ago and they are building a high speed train to move people off the other rail tracks to facilitate movement of containers.

Dude, as you well know, I have military history as something of a hobby and was well aware of the weather balloon bombs and their plague bomb trials and all that bilge. None of this is new. The Japanese high command knew full well that they had no resources to make any kind of concerted effort to attack the American mainland and that they would be hard pressed to control or defend the territory gains that had made before the Americans entered the war. They had no oil and were being bled mercilessly by American sanctions (and submarines) for a long time. They also relied, a bit like Britain at the time, on imports of just about everything to survive. Several key players in Japan had been to America and knew full well how industrialised the country was and the vast scale of the country, it's resources and workforce.

Yawn........... again, nothing stopping you investing in China if you so wish. I certainly have, just like dozens if not hundreds of Western companies who are making a killing out of the place.

China is going through the same period of growth that all the developed countries did, and they too, just like the rest, will reach a zenith and the baton will pass on to some other country or countries. You won't see Chinese people assembling Iphones for $50 USD a month 2 generations from now- they will be too affluent and fudge it off.

Nothing remarkable in this, we sent thousands of weather balloons over over Germany in WW2 carrying incendiaries or trailing thin steel wire to disrupt power lines.

That is a statement about the start of WW2, the play was for Japan to gain resources having dealt a significant if not mortal blow to what they considered a weak opponent. Their play was that the USA were so weak they would retreat back to the USA mainland.

Only a very few people considered that the USA might have a potential for military might.

Japanese soldiers were brutal. Japanese politics was brutal considering other cultures as barbaric. If Japan had gained enough resources .. it goes without saying they would naturally invade other cultures without a second thought. As they did in Burma and China.
