Would still have a bale trailer would just mean I could have an extra one when pressure on if had demount.
yeah steel floor was really wanting alloy. priced a Stewart and could pretty much buy 2 of these for same money!
If you want a stock box, you want a stock box. Buy the steel floor twice and what have you got at the end of the second one? Look how many aluminium 30 year+ boxes are still in use

These look alright
Yeah priced those too and against a non demount there 5k more!
up until starting pricing up was sort of thinking they would be the job.
But once you start looking and also how much used boxes sell for even all steel ones with deteriorating bodies you think might just be best keeping money in pocket and having another new one in a few years time.

I’m with @JP1 on this one, having had one of those Irish steel stock trailers I was amazed how fast they rusted through even though we keep our trailers fairly clean. Alloy is the only way to go with slurry imo.
We had a jpm dropside trailer just swapped it for a Bailey and it has to be said the paint work was exceedingly poor but that would be about 10 year old.
