The diary sounds like a really good idea, you generally find as it's the one machine going every day and driven by anyone the maintenance gets overlooked as everyone assumed the last person did it.
I would suggest a really good grease like the blue grease so it sticks to the pins longer

Can you not get a telehandler with an autolube yet?
Roughly how regularly should I aim to grease a new Manitou, it’s our first handler and I want to keep well on top of it.
It doesn’t do huge hours per month but several people have suggested to keep it well greased so....?
Personnally, I feel 50hrs is way too long.
Cant beat regular maintenance for the cost of the machines nowadays its worth taking the time to make sure things are lubed properly, a lot of our local customers use Fuchs grease over the cheaper brands as they swear by it.
