Got some formerly good hardcore farm tracks which are getting veery pot holes due to this winter weather. Filling potholes is becoming a daily chore at the moment as whatever we put in just comes out again when vehicles drive over it. Have tried breaking up the area around the potholes to get the materials to bind a bit better, but this results in bigger holes.
Thinking about hiring a Kirpy Stone Crusher to run over them, then vibrating roller. Have heard of people mixing in cement dust as well to bind it.
Does anyone know if there’s a dosing facility for cement dust on the crusher or is it just a sprinkle ahead and let it mix in job?
Does anyone know where I can hire one, either with tractor and operator or a stand alone machine which we can put on our tractors. We’re based in North Hertfordshire
