So I followed the general frugal feelings of you lot and took every one off. Sharpened. New sleeves. New bolts!
I couldn't re-use the sleeves
Because the bolts and sleeves needed swoppingNot wanting to relieve myself over your bonfire...
Why did you take them off to sharpen them, just hold them in your hand, run a little grinder on their edge.
Wear a glove, or you will smell some cooking meat and wonder why there is red grease running down the rotor...
Looks tidy though.
Oops wrong emoji lolBecause the bolts and sleeves needed swopping
Oh feckAre they not on the wrong way round?
Is there rotor running relatively vibration free?Oh feck
Always run in reverse lol. Saves all the mess on the road and tractor
Yes very goodIs there rotor running relatively vibration free?
All done!I used the same sort of flail for verge cutting.
They are easy to sharpen - just mimic the factory leading edge angle. A big bandsaw with a quality vice works well. Failing that, get acquainted with your grinder.
