I couldn't re-use the sleeves

Not wanting to relieve myself over your bonfire...

Why did you take them off to sharpen them, just hold them in your hand, run a little grinder on their edge.

Wear a glove, or you will smell some cooking meat and wonder why there is red grease running down the rotor...

Looks tidy though.

Because the bolts and sleeves needed swopping

Yes very good

I used the same sort of flail for verge cutting.

They are easy to sharpen - just mimic the factory leading edge angle. A big bandsaw with a quality vice works well. Failing that, get acquainted with your grinder.
