Krone baler

I have a krone 12/70 fast bale I have knotter problems works well when straw and hay are nice and fit
But when not quite fit all knotters play up randomly any one els have this problem, would like some advice on how to make knotters More reliable or recommended a good person on knotters

What pto rpm are you baling at?

Bit far but we have an excellent chap winter service ours but we are in the midlands. My brother drives it but he thinks the last 4 or 5 years it’s lost less than one knot per 1000 bales it’s an incredible baler and I think it’s due to the winter service mainly. What string are you using? Have you put a strain guage on the twine to test tension

Don’t mind paying someone if thay can git it tying well as it’s a lovley baler but some days it’s exelent

Keeps dropping tandum strings but when crop is very fit it’s fine

The raspers are built to work in California conditions, it’s not the knotters issue it’s your location is the problem
Do not bale unfit crops.

Also have a case square baler and bale a lot of haylage wich is damper and doesn’t miss a bale
