Kubota tractors.

I think they look smart, orange wheels and all. If they are price competitive with Case/Deutz and include the 5 year warranty then they will be worth a serious look. As said above a buyback scheme would really help get them off the ground. It wouldn't need to be too generous, just enough to reassure you it wouldn't be worthless when the warranty expires.

You ought to try buying the big lawn mower tractors used, serious residual values!

I hope they will be more competitive than case. I got a quote back in the winter for one same specs as mf and it was 15 grand more expensive. I rang the salesman and told him and he said he would have another look. Never heard back from him. Went with mf in the end. Would be interested to have a look at the kubota in a year or two

Kubota are going to need some serious marketing to get the tractors into the premium area.
Their smaller agricultural tractors are seen as a cheaper type of tractor yet their ground care and earthmoving equipment is definitely premium price.
But perhaps they are going to go for the whole market from basic to full bells and whistles

What so you can smash it when lifting a funny shap/awkward machine?
So that the driver can see directly backwards without glass at a shallow angle giving him a massive blind spot. The cab looks to be far enough forward to allow this.

I'd be more worried about wrecking the mudguards, which do look as if they extend back and down more than most. Reminds me of a Standard Fordson.

Have you not noticed tractors being driven with open rear windows? Most open to near 90 degrees. There's one or two that don't of course, but most do for good reason.
I have noticed it but seldom do it myself. What's the point? Only time I ever open the rear window is to hear someone shout stop. In which case I obviously can't see whatever it is I'm trying not to hit anyway. So the vision out of my open rear window is pretty irrelevant.

Wow! Might as well weld a bulkhead there instead then. Count me out.

I'm sure if that wasn't the full extent of rear window opening all you'd need to do is replace the gas strut with a longer one. [emoji849]

Old man lifted a tedder up with the rear window open on an old ford years ago and smashed the window. Didn't have time to put a new one in and I had to go and turn over straw swaths that had been rained on with the grass rake.

Came back that night looking like an African! Never had the window open since
