We have an 8712 tedder fitted with Headland Lift Control...apparently it's fitted to it.
In short it appears to have absolutely no effect at the headland.
If you raise the outer sections there is nothing to stop them from continuing on up and wanting to fold into the transport position.
It would seem we have some additional valving in place on the machine but nothing in the cab to activate HLC in the working mode.
Handbook is impressively vague and dealer and importers haven't any answers.
Couple of Kuhn promotional videos and advertising literature suggest it should work so I'm assuming we're missing something.
Does anyone run a similar machine and have first hand experience with this function ?
