Kuhn plough depth wheel

Is there bushes in the depth wheel pin ? There is on the parts diagram? Anyone fitted them ? Getting a bit on slack on mine now !

our previous Kuhn plough got a lot of play in the depth wheel but it was the other type where the wheel has to turn back on its self. When I pulled it apart the buses had worn into the housing and I ended up machining it out and sleeving it. Not a big job to take to bits but it is heavy with the wheel on.

There are grease zerks for a reason, so yes there would be bushes in the vertical and horizontal pivot. Which one is the worse for wear?

It's the vertical one that has the movement in the other is tight, kept well greased btw

That’s the other style of depth wheel without the damper. It’s the same as my old one I had to machine out and bush. There isn’t any bushes on the horizontal. I’ve not had the new one in bits which is the same as the op’s to see if that has bushes in.

Yes, I should have posted that drawing....if you'll notice, the part number on the pin and the bushes are the same on either.
