Kverneland disc mower spares??

Hi all, I have an old but functional kverneland Ta327f front disc mower and I need a few bits to get it ready for work again. One top hat has hit something and is beyond repair, plus the left and right hand blade protector/ skid units are worn out. I wondered if anyone has a mower that they are breaking that I could buy some bits off? Parts off a rear disc mower might do.. To repair with new parts is likely more than the mowers worth. 🙄 or is there anywhere that does sensibly priced new spares? Any help greatly appreciated.👍 thanks

It's a pointless exercise unless you price new parts up first. It'll take 20 mins to get all the part numbers off Kverneland website and ring a dealer.
in my experience used parts rarely work out cheaper

I agree that new is usually the best option. Subject to price and availability. But if a breaker has decent parts at the right price then that will do for my job. I have contacted my local Kv agent and the prices are steep enough. 🙄👍

I priced a drive pulley up with kv was nearly 390.00 or 60.00 with the local bearing centre.

try krampe or grannit they do them usually.
This is what I’ve found, it pays to shop around. The parts I need will be best part of £600 from Kv. Well worth a few phone calls to save a few hundred £.. I’ll have a look on their website. Thanks classichay 👍

Hard to find decent second hand spares, top hat shouldn’t be dear, but don’t weld one as they’re harmonically balanced and you’ll eat bearings for fun.

I replace my skids with Hardox wear plates, you won’t wear them out then.

Thanks Classichay that’s a good point about the balancing of the cone. I’ve bought one from NH in the end. £250 with the lid plus vat. I’ll probably weld up the stone guards/ wear skids as I have plenty of metal and I won’t be mowing a huge acreage. Hardox plate would last forever!! 👍
