Kverneland / Vicon CM2400 oil seals

Has anyone renewed the seals on a CM2400 gearbox and disc deck? I have just bought one second-hand and there's oil leaking from somewhere around the coupling between the gearbox and the disc deck, and there's no oil left in the deck! Before I do an oil change, I am contemplating replacing tbe seals. Has anyone tried this and is there a supplier for bits for these mowers?

Can you post a pic?
I think it’s a vicon bed. If you undo the gearbox and lift it off the bed there’s a big fat 1/2” thick O ring between them

Hi Dave, good call. Yes that would fit. There is about a 1/2" gap between the bottom of the gearbox and the bed and there's oil seeping from around there.
Thinking about it, the lack of oil in the bed suggests it's leaking out of the bed somewhere else (it doesn't spend much time tipped up in transport mode).

Where did you buy it from?
Yes that’s a vicon bed. I’d be inclined to strip all the discs off and inspect everything. The top hat inserts that hold the intermediate gears can work loose. If they’re not caught in time it can wear the bed casing.
Also wash it off and thoroughly inspect for cracks. I think that bed is only suspended from one end and the main chassis only runs to the first 1/3 of the bed. cracks appear around the point where the chassis finishes

Private sale. Yes, the bed hangs off the gearbox on one side only. I will examine further, thanks for the advice (my previous mower had cracks all over the place). Are the spares readily available?

I’d be moving that on sharpish. Or asking for money back.
you’ll be chasing cracks forever.
ideally it needs a full strip down and get a fabricator to crack test test it and do it properly
