L200 charging problem

Help required with my 14 plate l200. It ran out of electricity one Day a few days after it came home from gettinga new balancer shaft in the engine. Replaced battery and alternator. Everything seemed fine for a day but only 12v off the back of the alternator. 2nd day back it started fine first thing but ran out of electricity again. Replaced alternator again incase new one was faulty. Checked wires and fuses but no better.

Now we are stuck. Any help or ideas gratefully received

Is the alternator warning light working correctly?? Like on with ignition and goes off when the engine is running??
I have a little test lamp with 2 wires and crocodile clips, one on the back +, the other on the alternator small terminal. It replicates and simplifies the charge circuit.
