I had this 18 years ago..lost a stack of lambs..its a bit late coming warm next week...those that have lost lambs will be feeling sick,i know I was

I’m trying to focus on the positives. Has been a shocking spring. I went around picking dead lambs off the field last week after torrential rain. At least the heat will make the grass grow and we might see an end of this misery. A lot of lads on their knees around here. I’m in the west of Ireland and their importing silage/haylage from England. lads are queuing up for it. Paying €90 for a 8x4x2 bale. The way it’s working is their ordering 5 bales and lucky to get 2.

Almost forgetting what the sun looks like! :cautious:

Trouble is every time you look at the forecast the dry weather seems to have been put back another couple days :shifty:

My own personal weather lady, the Carol Kirkwood of Telford no less, said much the same this morning. Last weekend, she promised me dry weather by Wed afternoon.... I'm still waiting :-(

Thank you darling wife:rolleyes:

Another day of cold east winds and mist, can't wait for this good weather to arrive, lambing is slow but fast enough in this pure hellish weather, ewes are not milking great despite having thousands of pounds of cake etc over the lastb7 weeks spend on them. Hope this time next week things will be better
