It’s a few years before my time, we had 5 irrigation setups back then so it wasn’t as big of a deal for my family. I still have 2 irrigation setups that havnt been used in 20+ years but weve kept thinking it will surely rain soon so havnt bothered.. the ewes are eating 3 bales a day of silage and the fields their in are definitely building the fertility up

I think some rains due today all though its hit an miss as were it will be heavy

looks like a ok start then dried off. fast
will still have some value in it. but maybe more ewe feed than finishing lambs. unless can get some. good. high value feed. in to them to go with the standing hay

never seen grass that brown. its like its had round up on hope you get some rain soon
