Lambing Ewe Lambs

@JHT been wanting to send you a PM but haven't wanted to jinx it! Hats off, they are fantastic sheep, tough things, they've grown on well and the majority took the tup. Just started lambing them over the weekend, extremely good mums and throwing their lambs out well.

Been telling everyone who will listen that they need some! Think of us this year when you're drawing ewe lambs!

Charmoise lambs, really easy lambing from the ewe lambs

Berrichon used here on texel x lambs, pull very few, absolute cracking lambs, quick growing, most gone fat in 20weeks at 40plus kg

Southdown here havnt lambed a hogg whole of lambing and the last hogg lambed this morning.230 hoggs lambed in total here. Lambs grow slowly enough not to drag the hogg down but finish very easy.

Lambed a few Easycare hoggs to the Southdown this year. No lambing issues but found that they were lacking a bit in vigour. This ties in with the tup, who is a big, soft lump himself!

My sothdown is a lump aswell but the lambs get up and go. I will be looking for another this year.

Charollais on ewe lambs here , in the midst of lambing them now, all lambing easy and good strong lambs up and sucking
