~2.7T.
680 kg approximately
Diameter it's bound to be24" diameter or radius?
M. Capstick would seem to be working on radius.Diameter it's bound to be
Is that a 24 inch roller? We have a 8ft twose at home and the mf digger lifts it on forks no problems, and it won't lift 2 tonM. Capstick would seem to be working on radius.
8' Grays water filled roller was sold as 3t. 2.7ish water + 300kg frame and rollers themselves?
I'd put it at about 1m diameter from memory. Works out at 1.88t plus frame, bit abstract as it's full of sand now. . 1.5t/cu m.Is that a 24 inch roller? We have a 8ft twose at home and the mf digger lifts it on forks no problems, and it won't lift 2 ton
How i worked it out, 24x24 x 100 ÷78x96 to give cubic inches, then converted to litres, 354 cubic inches being 5.8 litresM. Capstick would seem to be working on radius.

1 meter is 39 inches, so significantly more than 24I'd put it at about 1m diameter from memory. Works out at 1.88t plus frame, bit abstract as it's full of sand now. . 1.5t/cu m.
I'm metricated. Pi r squared x width. 3.14 x .3 x .3 x 2.4. (1 cu m is 1t) = 680 kg.How i worked it out, 24x24 x 100 ÷78x96 to give cubic inches, then converted to litres, 354 cubic inches being 5.8 litres
Metric ! You will be stuffed when we get out of Europe, I'm already preparedI'm metricated. Pi r squared x width. 3.14 x .3 x .3 x 2.4. (1 cu m is 1t) = 680 kg.
Not that it matters, both work, but if we knew what the original measurement was of, we'd be sorted.
is 354 cu inches = 5.8 litres a standard unit ?Metric ! You will be stuffed when we get out of Europe, I'm already prepared
At least we both got the same answer
Cummins, don't be silly, I'm referring to a Perkinsis 354 cu inches = 5.8 litres a standard unit ?
What's the unit called, A Cummins?
just teasing.Cummins, don't be silly, I'm referring to a Perkins
680 kg of water3/4 T empty, 3 T full of water. Concrete, I believe is heavier still ?
Oak is corrosive to steel because of its tannin content. That is why oak furniture should be assembled with brass screwsInteresting paper here for folk wishing to make their own, but I notice they don't mention Maple as a good wood but do mention Oak despite it's corrosive characteristics .
