Today was a sad day for heavy industry, after over 116 years of production the final casting was cast today
THE END OF AN ERA
I understand mate to be honest i didnt like it in the crane and a tear was shed the video was the first of 2 identical jobs side by side the second one shows all the lads applauding which set me off . Will upload it laterThanks for taking the time to capture this, and post it, Pete. As said, a great historical record.
But as much as I have enjoyed all your posts, it just doesn't feel right to 'like' the above post, I hope you understand.
So sad to see this kind of industry come to an end
They could be applauding that they don't have to put up with you takin pee out of them all dayThe lads applaud the last ever job
Or knocking their helmets of with mi chains the main thing i will miss is the crack , we had some brilliant times and we had some sh!t ones but it doesn't get much sh!itter than thisThey could be applauding that they don't have to put up with you takin pee out of them all day
