legal or ethical?

This is a disgusting idea that came to me last year....

Supposing one kept a pig in the corner of ones lambing shed and chucked to it all the casualties and afterbirths...

Presumably this is not a legal method of clearing 'fallen stock.'

but in terms of ethics- Pigs are carrion eaters by nature, aren't they?

friend of mine saw that whilst visiting india
An old pal of mine had been behind the lines in Burma during WWII. Any new recruits were given a serious warning not to eat the pork supplied by the natives. I think it's the pork trichina worm that has quite an interesting life cycle. That requires a long spell in hospital on return to GB.

Caerlaverock castle has double decker toilet built into the walls. Upper one sat with feet either side of your shoulders. No idea if there were pigs involved.

Well even more disgusting is that it was a common design where the outside toilet (they were all outside) was simply a seat with a hole that dropped down to the pig sty.
Not saying that it was a good idea and I wouldn't be eating the pig.
I stayed in a shack in southern India with one of those "facilities".
