That's why there's all sorts of different types of modern Lleyns - some of 'em have different proportions of Texel in 'em.

You've got to take your hat of to the Lleyn Society though, taken what was virtually a rare breed, to the number of sheep in the country today under the Lleyn banner, in what? 50 or 60 years.

There's a 'type' of Lleyn to suit all situations - just pick the amount of Texel you want in yours 🤷‍♂️

I'm guessing it's supposed to be a Lleyn, but the width between the front legs suggests there's a far bit of Texel in there

It's a bit like going to a Texel sale and wondering how much Beltex is in a lot of them.
Quite. Although Texels aren’t registrable as Beltex, Beltex are registrable as Texels. Which gives the hilarious consequences of the same animal having two different sets of EBVs.
