Currently getting Great quality Calcium Lime from West Midlands to home in Central Scotland

Stockpiling some for spring application 100 acre at around 1.8t/acre

so any of you lime spreading guys @Cab-over Pete have an opinion on Limex (70), is it any good, obviously a different product to ground limestone but but they roughly same price per/t spread here.
I used some last year. Its very fine so must be fast acting , I've had some test done this week so will post the results as soon as I get them
I suspect with all these finner products that they work quicker but don't last as long

I had the Limex 70 independently tested
Neutralising Capacity 52.5 . Not sure what that means to be honest

NV 29.4

Total Calcium 28.4

Potash was 0 .13

Nitrogen and Phosphate 0.1

All percentage

I suspect but don't know the N P K vary a lot
Some I know will argue this figures are so low they are not relevant

Would you suggest that 0.1% wasn’t a low level? :scratchhead: At an application rate of 1t/ac you would be applying just 1kg of the nutrient. I would suggest that IS irrelevant.

It was estimate the other nutrient would be worth £7/t against there analysis.
