Situation Vacant Livestock Sales Manager

The Opportunity: We're looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and driven salesperson with a passion for livestock to join a well-established and innovative company with exceptional credentials. The Livestock Sales Manager will be responsible for generating leads and growing the presence of the company within the West Midlands.

The Company: A successful, growing business with excellent sustainability credentials, this integrated farming business is working with multiple stakeholders throughout the supply chain to produce award winning British beef for the UK market.

Role Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate new leads, consistently growing and expanding the business
• Build and nurture relationships with farmers
• Follow up on inbound leads in your area
• On farms daily; viewing stock, advising and establishing strong connections

Skills you will need:

Essential:

• Proven sales experience in the livestock sector
• An existing network of farmer contacts
• A highly motivated individual, driven to succeed and able to produce results
• A strong understanding and knowledge of livestock production systems
• A good communicator, able to negotiate well with farmers
• The ability to multitask and be flexible in their approach to work
• Strong organisational skills, can efficiently prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• A willingness to travel
• UK driving licence
