Having worked in different parts of the country I aware of different terms used within farming. Some of which still make me smile....

Leading bales - is obvious, but I still see a bale wearing a show collar (like showing cattle) in my head!

Reene - Open furrow left when finishing ploughing a field.

Assbackards - wrong way around.

Endriggs - Headlands of a field

Some of these are disappearing from every day - what does everyone else have?

apologies if I have put this in the wrong category.

Over wort not across 😉
Well that's how we say it 😄
Any more to confuse flatty? 🤣
If it's combining then it's over "he cut the whole field over wort" if your ploughing or cultivating then you do it across wort!!!

When straw or hay starts to get damp it gets "clung" or when combining "I'll have'tu stop soon tha's getting clung in the bottom"

Old prof flatty @flat10 reckons most of my vocabulary is made up......says the man who until a few weeks ago had never had any lumber come up in his beet!!!!😂😂😂😜

It is sad in a way that some of these old words are being lost but nobody ever seems to mention the new ones such as "more pansies on bikes!" as an exclamation when trying to get somewhere on a tractor or, "for f**ks sake you only had to go back 5 yards in a straight line and now you are up the hedge" when encountering elderly or female drivers who had just passed the only bit wide enough.
