I rate Old20TractorParts stuff pretty well having had only one issue among many parts ordered for a 35, and a full refund given for that one.

What you'd want is at:

https://old20tractorparts.com/31-t20-tef-diesel#/categories-electrical

and is at the bottom of the page - solenoid on starter or on bulkhead choice, as well as UK or non-UK made.

But as you mention, REStracTORATION and some others who've done far more restoring, and of 20s, which I haven't, can probably give better advice.

Yea used agriline had David brown ones which were good for the price is use again.

Mostly use sparex on mf stuff 35s onwards
To be honest for the grey Fergs I've never fitted a wiring loom
So I can't comment
There's a couple of members here that will but I can't remember there name

If sparex or agriline do them just get one as they can be sent back if wrong or don't fit

Looking good ................. (y)

If you wanted to try some Isopon P40 (or equivalent made by others) in the old core plug as a temporary (kick it down the road) fix? Clean and score the surface well for best results.

To operate tipping pipe:
Engage PTO
Lift arms fully
When the arms go up fully, the oil will start coming out the tipping pipe.
To let it back down, move the arms control lever down.
You will need to fit the tee bar or find some other way of stopping the the link arm going fully up. When the arms raise to the top the piston hits the pump control linkage and knocks the control valve into neutral.

I usually make my own looms, a friend bought a loom (not sure where from mind) and he spent more time cutting off the various ends and replacing them.
Re starting, she should go at that, especially if you have the excess fuel button in?? (it will only stay in if the stop button is pushed in) Sounds like it's firing on the 1 pot and not quite there on the rest, could be any number of things, compression? or injectors are tired. (easy to replace the nozzle/tips)

Have u tried shouting come on u ba@@@stard while cranking ??? Works for me .
It is nearly there aint it
Re external oil u need the tee bar as stated is the longer top link pin free . The hinged one . One of mine is seized. Tee bar top goes on there to miss the top link sensing .
Fergies are good but i think we have to remember very early oil systems
I dont think 35 un on needed arms holding down.

what is the latest regarding your tractor?
have you fixed it?
The Fergie expert came out last week and he noted that there is a good supply of fuel to the pump but the fuel coming out of the pump is not what he would expect it to be. Pump has gone off to be checked and if that is all ok then we’ll look at the injectors.

I suspect it will be the 2 square filters on the back of the pump blocked up with crud, I have in the past managed to blow these out with compressed air, taking the main feed banjo away from the pump and then putting compressed air in through the bleed port on the pump, I was amazed how much brown/red'ish junk that came out of it, I did this 3 years ago and it runs fine to this day, maybe worth a try if you have compressed air handy and not whipped the pump off yet, but have plenty of rags handy as it'll make a fair mess. You will then have to bleed it all again mind!!

Got the pump back was full of silicon from where someone had tried to seal it up rather than buying proper seals. It’s a company from Wiltshire way when I lived down there years ago. Now need to get the injectors checked incase they’re blocked with it too.

Frustrating but ultimately rewarding, righting the wrongs done to a classic bit of machinery by people who for whatever reason bodged a job (and sometimes there are good reasons - even if it doesn't seem like it).

Just hope that whoever did that 'repair' didn't use the same method on places like the rocker cover or oil filter gaskets etc., not good having that floating around the engine.

Annoyingly this was a “professional” outfit and this is the only bit they touched on it as I took the pump to them.

Should be back on next week and see if it solves the issue
