You can only tell the difference if you cut the min half at least 6in from the end. I have a 100 soaking for next year.

Why the waste engine oil? What does it add?Creosote and waste engine oil
They were local timber and not dried enough to take cresote , they look the same from the outside , but cut them and they tell their own story. Here are two cresote stakes , one fast grown and little cresote and the second one slow grown and properly cresotedView attachment 826578gView attachment 826577
Who in the north supplies them?
Glendale engineering and Eden farm supplies around here.Who in the north supplies them?
Where can you buy cresote as its banned from sale , can only be used under licence by timber companies.Creosote and waste engine oil
Maybe in Ireland but not in the UKWhere can you buy cresote as its banned from sale , can only be used under licence by timber companies.
No I won't use tornado again , it's softer it's getting , I was only talking to a big fencing contractor today who confirmed this. As for clipex it has a place but from a business point , when farmers can get timber that will last 40 yrs that's the way their going .I thought Clipex was the best thing since sliced bread? Don't tell me you are using Tornado wire now too?!
Is it not the cresote substitute your buying .Maybe in Ireland but not in the UK
No. Creo was only banned from domestic use not industry. Creosote is still available to buy.Is it not the cresote substitute your buying .

Pretty sure i said that before, but you wouldn't listen. No I won't use tornado again , it's softer it's getting , I was only talking to a big fencing contractor today who confirmed this. I've started using the Clipex steel posts from mcveighs , no more dirty creosote and no more rotten posts.
Switched to Clipex here and will never use timber again , it's a no brainier , the only problem with Clipex is getting stock as they are sold out , they can't keep enough in .
That is the same effect Clipex is having on customers once they have the first Clipex up , I have to laugh at the other thread where lads are buying timber posts and soaking them in cresote , a lot of dirty work and hassle , these posts are so clean to work with we will never handle a cresote again.
