I'm Maisie, a Harper graduate who is looking for a lambing placement in 2025.
I'd be looking for work from mid March onwards anywhere in the UK if accommodation is available (or within a sensible distance of Bruton). I am looking mainly for the experience and want the opportunity to learn as much as I possibly can, so working with someone willing to teach me is the highest priority for me.
I come from a non-agricultural background but have a broad range of experience within the sector. I have mainly been office-based in machinery/ precision ag focused roles since graduating but looking for more experience in the livestock sector after a recent change of heart. I'd love chance to try lambing as its something I've got very limited experience with (apart from occasionally helping friends and on the university farm).
Currently I am just finishing up a calving in New Zealand on a 1500head dairy and I have a job lined up in Australia over harvest but I am looking to return to the UK in March.
