LP UK Plant Sales

There is a very old saying which some on here should note. If you have nothing useful to say say nothing at all
Actually in this situation its best to just keep typing to keep this thread at the top of the Google search rankings.

I'm sorry but afraid your chances of getting your money back are practically zero, but if you can warn others....thats a good thing surely.

I accept your point and agree to an extent but some on here seem to message just to get their views on paper, their comments are not at all helpful.
I also agree that the money is probably lost and accept that however I console myself with the thought that the scammers will always have to be wary and wait for the tap on the shoulder which will come some day, they had better hope it is the police and not some of those scammed. Yes they are a scam I made a payment on 4/12/17 and only found out later from this site they are a scam so my money is gone and no machine and it doesn't look like there can be much done about it but I'd like to know how many more have been done and how long are this bank still allowing them to remove money after they knew what is going on.
I reported that I had been scammed around 17 nov. This included the bank(Nat West) where both my account and the fraudsters were held. It seems strange that the Bank should show no interest apparently. Are the fraudsters still using this bank?

I agree. Being told time without end that you are an idiot unfortunately does not reduce the loss. The money is long gone. However keeping our collective stupidity up there in flashing lights just might help others. All though in less charitable moments I have wondered what it might cost to fix these scammers permanently.

Would sound alarms to me just looking a the photo , no cab glass on tractor i.e. Exported model and its quite clearly not the uk in the background , probably Africa somewhere

The photo belongs to JCB America I think. If you are an overseas buyer these things aren't as obvious.

I've regularly purchased equipment unseen from the UK over the years and never had any problems. Just a matter of knowing and trusting who you are dealing with. Most dealers I find are pretty straight, but then their are some farmers. :inpain:

They got my payment on 4/12 /17 are they not guilty to a certain extent when they knew what was going on and still hadn't frozen that account.

You fairly certainly paid to an account which had no previously known bad history. They change accounts very regulatly and try to use accounts with a previous good history

I have been in contact with the owner of the genuine L.P. UK Plant Sales Ltd. His business does not sell machinery in the UK but only buys plant for export to customers and his own company in Portugal. The business does not have a yard or any staff in the UK and does not have a website.
