sounds like a good amount of information on here to start a page in the newspaper ;) Sorry you had to go through all this though, can't have been very nice. Couldn't you send some very stiff letters to the management and tell them what you think of the service they are supposed to be providing? One letter may not do it, but if there was more than one person who complained they may stop to think.

Main dealers do as they please. Guy i know took a machine in to a different dealer he bought the machine from with a warranty issue. Dealer made a claim but it was refused as machine had already had a claim on that issue, which it hadn't, seems the original dealer had claimed for another machine!

The dealer was probably helping another customer out and if this customer had gone back to the original dealer, he would have been sorted and none the wiser.

My Isuzu is four years old with 75k on the clock. They sold it to me with a five year 125k warranty. If they want to use the small print to wriggle out of paying then I won't be going back for another. What made me more angry than anything was the service manager saying she wouldn't release the vehicle until it was sorted one way or the other. I've known her for years and she knows damn well I always pay my bills. It's not so much what she says but the way she says it!
What a fecking depressing thread this is! Just bought a 13reg 30K mile Yukon end september. Oh,says the salesman,"if anything should go wrong,we will see you right, its still got nearly 2 years warranty left".I am not so sure about that now! Just seems i am waiting for the engine to blow up,because of diesel in the oil,or some other problem to happen like "GTB"s.

Don't panic just yet. They're good trucks. This is the first issue we've had to be fair and if the service manager wasn't so awkward I wouldn't have even mentioned it.

Yep, I got one of them too. Unfortunately it's the wrong sort of advertising to get me interested, not really interested in how much a month or how many months on finance, all I want to know is how much do they cost and I don't mean RRP.
15% less than list as a rule, more if its been in stock a while and had to be paid for.
