It was our first year growing maize and we've just got the sample analysis back. Not overly excited by the analysis but in fairness it was a very difficult autumn weather wise.

DM 29.1%
ME 11.1MJ/kg
D Value - 70.9%
Starch 25.7%
Starch degradibility - 82.2%

This compares against our wholecrop:

DM - 32%
ME 10MJ/kg
D Value - 64%
Starch - 28.6%
