Making drawbar hole larger

I have an old (ancient) Conor shea seeder that I have recently acquired. To fit the 3 point linkage quickhitch the drawbar hole needs to be made bigger. Does anybody have any ideas? I was thinking just cut or drill a bigger hole but might not be strong enough.
Thanks

Yeah like this, common in nz for pulling trailers and feed out wagons

Yes, we have drawbars but to avoid getting in and out to pull a pin every time we need to loadthis is probably the cheapest option. We don’t have telehandlers and usually most farms only have one loader tractor, with us only having one tractor. A tandem axle trailer or feed out wagon does not have a whole heap of toung weight. We use a 14 cube wagon on a ts90 and it’s fine, never had the linkage fail.

If it not a large heavy machine I reckon be worth making hole bit bigger, doesn't look that far off from fitting.
Can always weld new ring in later if doesn't look right

Yep just done that, was 35mm and pin is 40mm so only needs to be a tiny bit bigger. Took it to the engineers and he was just going to use the gas axe. Havnt seen it yet, will take a pic when done. It’s only a seed drill and would weigh maybe a ton if that.

Sorry, I hope that didn’t come across personally. I was meaning your dealer must have you in there good books to get a deal like that, or like you said very frugal and picked up an eBay deal.

For my Massey, it was £15 from a local chap. For the New Holland, it came with the tractor. I thought most tractors had a hook as standard these day....
