making hay

got grass coming out my ears and not made hay in years decent crop ,6 stringers how many bales would you expect 2-3 bales an ac ? at 400 kg what would a 6 string hay bale way ? trying to work out wether im
better off just doing round bale haylage
with round bales it would be 8 bale an ac crop roughly , also what is the cost if square bailing ? thanks

I’d say it would be 5-6 over to acres then. Normally charge 50p a foot for square bales.
