A friend told me that a cable tie around the sensor on the back of the boom (where it is only touched when the boom is fully retracted) will solve the problem temporarily.
Hi, i have a Manitou 625 2013, all the leds are lighting up as soon as mechine is running, telescopic boom wont extended, can be overridden by the parachute switch. Is there a way to bypass this completely? Only me driving said mechine. Thanks
@ACEngineering thanks for the reply, no error codes showing on the dash.. Just all the led lights lighting up with the alarm sounding.. stumped at the minute with what it could be? Awkward filling the feeder wagon by holding the parachute buttonthere should be errors codes on it, with out knowing these cant really pin point the problem. Unbolting the axle sensor will not bypass the problem, you need to fix it for which you need to start with the error codes on screen or on the read out display itself.
Then a skill fully applied cable tie can render the cut outs inactive at your own risk of cause.
Should also ad, tried the calibration method for the strain gauge@ACEngineering thanks for the reply, no error codes showing on the dash.. Works well can get back wheels 2ft of the ground and still pull the boom back inA friend told me that a cable tie around the sensor on the back of the boom (where it is only touched when the boom is fully retracted) will solve the problem temporarily.
@ACEngineering error code
@ACEngineering thanks very much, had a quick look earlier, a cable tie on the telescopic sensor at the back done the trick to get me going. Will have a look at doing a calibration tomorrow.
