Manitou 735 angle gearbox oil leak

I have a 2009 manitou 735 which has an oil leak. Not had this before but I am guessing there is a seal gone between angle gearbox and transmission. How bad a job is it? I have attached a pic from parts manual of where it’s leaking. It looks like gear oil to me.

I have a feeling this is not uncommon, anyone have any advice/suggestions

TIA
Henry

What your going to find in there is the big nut on the end of the main shaft is loose and oil is leaking up past the splines, these splines will have worn, and also the torque converter will be floating back and forth to some degree (to what noticeable extent may depend if the nut self tightened on Stopping engine)
This often knackers the transmission pump and the converter if left long enough.

Now your also almost certainly going to find the other end of the main shaft worn too were it drives the hydraulic pump, these splines run dry and wear through, resulting in a new hydraulic pump and shaft in box.

I have 21 new gearboxes in stock and a new one will be your best cheapest long term fix option.
I can do a deal on the pump as well if required and the orings and tank gaskets etc required to fit.
