Manitou MLT627T boom fault help!!!

Hi all, got a 2012 MLT 627 TURBO, when trying to boom out the boom only moves out around 1 ft at a time before stopping, then you have to let go of the roller switch and re-press to get it to go another foot etc. etc.

The boom pulls in fine no problems at all, and if you lower the boom whilst booming out it booms out as normal, any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think I had someone in Ireland with this problem, needed a new ecu, which is back ordered about £500.

I can quite remember the details of problem.

Swap the aux electrics to the boom extension at the spool block end to see if the problem moves to the aux not working right or if the problem says the same on the extension.

if the problem moves then your looking at joystick, wiring or ECU fault. if the problem stays the same then it will be spool block side.
