@Jurck46 you know you could say thanks. getting fed up with new people joining and either not bothering to say thank you or just not even bothering to come back to see the answer at all. And before you reply if you do we can all see when you were last active so i know you have been on here since i posted the answer, infact i seen you on at least twice since.

LAST time i bother to reply to any new member till they start contributing something to forum first.

I'm sorry and thank you for fast reply.

Thank you. you will find that retraction or as i call it telescopic boom in switch in the back of the boom on the right hand side, just a little arm and roller end of it, that is activated when boom is fully in. Its just an ON/OFF switch so easy to test if working or not.

How can i test it.

its an on/off switch but with 4 wires i think. so similar to the handbrake switches were one pair of wires is one side of the switch and the other pair is the opposite side.

I would expect but dont quote me on this, pins 1 and 2 to be a pair and pins 3 and 4 to be the other pair.

with it switched one way one side of the switch will be open and the other closed and when switched the other way you will get the opposite.

I suspect one side of the switch isnt working right, i think the part number of switch will be 261448

NOTE i have not taken the time to look at the manual to confirm this.
