Don't assume anything. Had an intermittent fault on combine and eventually found alternator main cable was only lodging in its eyelet, held together and hidden completely by all the heat-shrink sheathing.

Are you sure the alternator is good? Does electronic lift work? Check and double check all connections including earths to ETCU. Video looks like voltage /pressure switch/ wiring issues to me unless the ETCU has thrown a wobbly.

Yes the alternator is brand new . No the lift doesn't work the gears doesn't work or the rev counter doesn't work. Just wondering if it was a pressure switch where would it be on the tractor

12.5v from battery before I start. 14.2v when engine starts

After the tractor starts there is no lights on the dash but the rev counter doesn't work hydraulic lift and PTO doesn't work. If I leave the tractor running for an hour the tractor starts to work fine.

What year is the 6270.
As mentioned check the wiring and plugs going into the auto3 under the r/h step.
The yellow feed wire is prone to corrode.

Check the resistance of the engine speed sensor as well before you start the tractor
It located in the centre of the r/h hydraulic side plate
The resistance needs to be in the region of 470 ohms

Yeah it looks like you are.
Speak to David king electronics they should be able to repair your old ecu

David King or mav combine rescue. That ecu's been in water for a fair time. Missing pin cud be rhe least of the issue..

Thanks guys yes the pin is broken in the ECU box. Some water got in and done a job on it
