Massey Ferguson 165 rear wheels - change size?

Hi guys, hopefully you can help? We have a MF165 we use to tow gangmowers at my cricket club, we are looking to convert to turf tyres at the rear. We currently have 28x14.9 tyres on and it would seem you cant get turf tyres in this size, I have been told a 16.9 set would fit and be ok for our limited use (not on road) but these seem also hard to find (looking for second hand as budget is low) my main question is does anyone have any experience in fitting smaller rims to the tractor, do MF135 rims fit? It seems there is a lot more on the market at 24inch. Do any other brand rims fit? What stud pattern do i need to look out for etc?

Appreciate any advice!

Thanks in advance

Yes I had seen those, last resort really. I did get offered these from a seller on eBay, they were marked mf165/mf265, they are 26/16 rims with 18 turf tyres on, do you think these would fit?

Sorry, follow up question (forgive my ignorance) would a smaller rim still have the same size hub? For example a 24/26"?
Yes and no, a T20,35,135 have 11x28 wheels, 65 and everything above have 11x32 as standard (larger hub) your 14.9x28 are optional, wider but same circumference, if you want 24inch you would have to find wheels from a yellow mf industrial digger, these have small wheels with large hubs
Would nearly bald tyres with the tread pointing the opposite direction not do your job ?

When I was little, our 165 had 13.6-38 tyres, fitted as oversize from the normal 12.4-36, which the Ford 4000 had here.
I know they're skinnier than has been mentioned above, but it might give a few more size options.
(24" wheels must look tiny on a 165!)
