Massey ferguson 6265

Hi ,
I've been an looked at a massey 6265 today 13000 hours.
Very tidy unit but the high hours worry me. I am on a budget of 18k and the the smaller units I've looked at so for that price have been abused and I think that worries me more.
What do folks think about high hours versus high abuse?

Some tractors will be started in the morning and pretty much run all day and will never be worked hard and still clock hour per hour due to electric clocks where as some machines will be thrashed far harder and abused far worst while clocking a third of those hours.

If the Massey is reasonably tidy and your happy with it and within your budget and feels right then what’s wrong? If those hours shame you a little or worry you then fit a new hour clock

The Perkins engine in that would be cheap enough to recondition if needed.of greatest concern to me would be a brake failure contamination, which can happen at any hours ,and cause long term problems with solenoid valves etc.

Im concerned that if I buy a nail i cant afford to replace or repair it. The hours I do are minimal and the work varied, bit of loading mainly grassland management.
Am I better buying a bigger high hour tractor or a smaller lower that been less well used?
