Sorry to hijack this thread. But when we're talking about massey electric problems! Just replaced pto stop button on rear mudguard of 6465. When I push it in pto stops, but as soon as I let go pto starts again. Any advice would be much appreciated

The fuse box should be the same on the 6480.

You will have to check fuse and relay configuration as they will be different.

As for swapping you need to remove the panels on the right side to give you access to the fuse box
disconnect the plugs on the printed circuit
They are labeled but if not take a few pics to help you remember their location

We've had another look at the indicators that won't flash, everything works as should but doesn't flash.

Tried flasher can
Swapped indicator stalk with 62 same
Ran an earth from battery to each light same
Looked in trailer socket but seems fine (terminal type not screws in back)

Going to look through fuses see everything as book
Also going to look at wiring under mudguards.

Any particular places and other ideas?
Cheers

Similair issue on a 62 turned out to be a corroded connector behind the bulkhead, not sure if it’s the same on 64 but be worth checking.

I’ve just changed the stalk with the other massey and its the same, do you think it could be something else? Cheers.

There will likely be a diode blown on the circuit board in the right back corner of the cab that has the fuses built into it. I've fixed a couple of them now.

On ours the main beam and low beam doesn’t work but when you pull the stalk back to flash the lights, the headlight works. Any ideas on this?
My money is on the light stalk, they don't use relays and it tends to burn up the contacts inside the stalk. You lose dipped beam first and then main beam can give up usually only leaving flash to pass working. But double check the switch to the left of the dash that turns your sidelight and headlights on is also working. This is an easy and cheap part to swap I regularly change them.

Does it work if you use the hazard switch? Will the indicators blink? The dipped beam could be the same problem as above. But I reckon they are two separate faults unless the stalk has failed big time?
