Is there any way of refitting hydraulic pump and lining up pipe

Not usually a problem, is the cross pipe a nice snug fit on the pump?

the two holes bottom right corner DONT bung them up with sealant or you wont change hi lo two pieces of threaded bar in top holes and slide the side cover in straight

Long piece of fencing wire, 4 mil HT is probably too stiff, through the plug at the back, over the 4wd gear with a slight bend (not a full hook) under the tube to hold it in the correct place. Fit the pump cover and pull the wire out the back

Also maybe not connected but had to push button underneath tractor to lower lift arms after hooking up trailer

Lift won’t work when the aux spools are all the way engaged.

Are you saying it was slow to lift the trailer so you fitted a new pump and it's still slow to lift the trailer?

There has been problems with hydraulic for a while
Steering has been ‘iffy’. For a while
A very experienced reputable mechanic said new pump was needed
New pump has been fitted
I was very surprised to see trailer lifting very slow
I expected to see it going up a lot faster
Maybe some questions should have been asked here first

And is the steering better now? Have you the flow turn screw to the spools fully open?

Steering is better but still notchy
Later on it’s going to be used for fetching bales
There’s 11,400 hours on clock, maybe past it’s best

Hours are not the issue.
