Looking for opinions on Master and Mecmar mobile grain dryers. Looking at a new 20T electric model with full automation. Pros and cons of these machines would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

I'd go master (I used to work for them though!)
Ravenhill have an excellent engineer who's reputation alone sells many master driers, and a stock of spares themselves with anything else available next day from down here.
And telephone backup, 3 Yr warranty.

We have a Mecmar which turns 25 this year. It’s been a great machine and I’m sure the new ones are, however there is a fair price difference between them. Most people I have spoken to seem to be die hard one or the other.
The new masters are controlled via a small touchscreen laptop. It’s this that I’m most concerned about and how reliable it will be / easy to bypass if we gat an issue one Friday night.

The touch screens are far better than the switches!

We run a 16 ton master drier accompanied by a 19 ton grain bin

The touchscreen on ours is very clear and well laid out, I recommend getting a drier with a grain aspirator fitted as this will deal with dust and help polish up a grain sample.

Master farm services have always been very helpful.

Only thing I would say is Mecmar emptying shute not the best when wet and the long pole used to switch on emptying is a real pain, master had a tube and rope, much better.
Design might be better now and if full electric guessing you will have an auger unload so won't be a problem.

If the Mecmar still has the agitator gearbox in the plenum chamber, and the Master is on the outside for easy servicing, that would be a consideration, not a huge one, but just something that is a right pain on my Mecmar.
