Thanks Timbo I've fitted a oil pressure gauge just to check this out and it does run at 20psi but the oil light comes on when hot and ticking over could this be the oil pressure switch! hope so I've ordered a new one also when revved up a bit the pressure hovvers around 40+ psi

What is it ticking over at? Best set at 800rpm

I bought a new CNH oil pressure switch and it would stayed yellow all day. Switch was faulty!

Ive ordered one from a Case International dealer so hopefully its the right one

Yes it did I fitted it last Saturday and took it for a spin up the road on one of the hottest days and not even a glimmer from the oil light when ticking over mind you I changed the oil and filter so that probably helped a bit.

Your correct I sold it last month the chap left a deposit and picked it up this month
