Mccormick X7.440 Error Codes

Hey does anyone know what the following error codes are related too?

HC SPN2011 FMI:3
HC SPN:2012 FMI:3

I'm getting both randomly and the 2012 sometimes comes on and stays on.

Also have issues with the lift arms locking out and not being able to enable them again.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

One error is short circuit of the lift solenoid and the other is short circuit of the lower solenoid for the rear lift arms.

They are mounted on the middle valve next to the spool valves. Check the connectors and check the big round plugs under the back right of the cab.

I'd also check the earths going to the battery's as they earth direct to them will be in the bunch of white wires going to the top of the negative terminal.

Hey thanks for the pointers, it took awhile to get to the bottom of it. I checked all of the above but they were all good.

In the end it was the lower solenoid needing replaced. The new part was a single 4 bolt solenoid and the one on the tractor was a a dual solenoid 6 bolt plate so I had to swap the coil over.

Interestingly not had any Up error codes since fixing the down. Looking at the removed coil I could see a bit of rust at the bottom of one of the seems so was possibly shorting a bit (more) when wet.
